Well, it is pretty obvious our President has no compassion for anyone much less children. By vetoing the SCHIP bill
sent to him Bush has effectively played politics with the lives of nine million children. But, you may say it costs too
much. The difference between the $5 billion dollar increase over five years versus the $35 billion increase over 5
years comes to 4 cents a day or $1.26 a month to pay for some children that would not otherwise have regular
healthcare. The “go to the emergency room” ploy does not count as healthcare. What with the overcrowding in
emergency rooms now. Is it not worth 4 cents a day? Could anybody be so heartless? Oh Yes, our current
administration and the Republicans in Congress. Is this really the party of the people? I think not….
Next up, Blackwater. What a scarey group of people. They must be stopped before they are brought back home to be
the SS or Gestapo for this corrupt, insane, illegal administration. The cronyism involved with this organization is
dizzying. Almost a billion dollars in contracts so far in the last three years. My GOD, there is part of our SCHIP money.
When will Congress wake up???
I could go on and on about the insane things happening or rather not happening in Congress. It is truly frightening to
see the evasion and dodging of questions by the White House and the sycophants they trot out as spokespeople. I
give Dana Perino six weeks before she runs down Pennsylvania Avenue screaming and waving her arms.
